Dziennikarz sportowy, czyli kto?

dziennikarzeW powitalnym wpisie na tym blogu napisałem, że w naszym kraju żyje 40 milionów selekcjonerów reprezentacji Polski w piłce nożnej. Generalnie na sporcie, podobnie jak na medycynie, w naszym kraju zna się każdy. Rodzi to pewne problemy, jak na przykład ten, że każdy młody chłopak który obejrzał w TV trzy mecze i dwa konkursy skoków uważa, że może być dziennikarzem sportowym. Pokutuje jakieś powszechne przeświadczenie, że dziennikarzem sportowym może być każdy. Że to proste, w zasadzie trzeba tylko pisać o tym, co każdy widzi, a przecież na sporcie zna się każdy, więc w czym problem?

Otóż, jest problem. I to poważny.

Na wstępie uczciwie trzeba przyznać, że poziom polskiego dziennikarstwa sportowego w dużej mierze odzwierciedla niestety poziom odbiorców i ich oczekiwań. Zresztą nie tylko w sporcie mamy ten problem, ale na tym blogu będzie tylko o sporcie, więc poza ramy szlachetnej rywalizacji nie wychodzimy. Żyjemy w kraju, w którym odbiorca nie widzi różnicy miedzy komentatorem, dziennikarzem, a prezenterem. Generalnie „jak mówi o sporcie to musi dziennikarz”. Kropka. Te zaniżone oczekiwania sprawiają, że fundowany nam przekaz jest coraz bardziej trywialny, banalny i pozbawiony większej wartości merytorycznej. Dlatego tolerujemy kompletnie nieprzygotowanego do transmisji Szpakowskiego, dlatego nagrody dla komentatora otrzymuje Kurzajewski, dlatego nie domagamy się obecności na antenie/łamach ludzi kompetentnych. A powinniśmy. Bo dobry tekst o sporcie czyta się z przyjemnością. Dobra analiza, zapowiedź, może zupełnie odmienić nasz sposób postrzegania wydarzenia, które zamierzamy obejrzeć. Dobry dziennikarz potrafi zwrócić uwagę na detale, szczegóły, smaczki. Tymczasem my przed jakimś ważnym wydarzeniem możemy się co najwyżej dowiedzieć, czy Boruc zagra ze Szczęsnym w „pomidor”.

I co ten biedny Gołota ma odpowiedzieć? Że będą grać w warcaby i dyskutować o malarstwie Rembrandta? Czy wyobrażacie sobie Bogusława Kaczyńskiego, który tuż przed noworocznym koncertem Filharmoników Wiedeńskich pyta pierwszego skrzypka, czy ten zamierza czysto zagrać?

Taki to jest mniej więcej poziom pytań, taki poziom dziennikarstwa.

Byle kto dostaje do reki dyktafon i legitymację dziennikarską, więc i pytania są byle jakie. Wbrew obiegowej opinii, być dobrym dziennikarzem sportowym to nie jest łatwe zadanie. Jeśli miałbym wymienić „Bogusławów Kaczyńskich” w wersji sportowej – oczytanych, znających temat dogłębnie, potrafiących słuchać i zadawać odpowiednie pytania, wyciągać wnioski i formułować opinie, to „na szybko” wymienię trzy nazwiska (kolejność dowolna): Paweł Wilkowicz, Przemysław Rudzki, Cezary Gutowski.  Pewnie kilku dobrych pominąłem, ale i tak pokazuje to skalę problemu. Nie mamy wielu dobrych dziennikarzy sportowych, dobrych komentatorów jeszcze mniej. Dlatego, gdy oglądając w Internecie jakąkolwiek relację z Anglii czy USA pierwsze co rzuca się w oczy (a raczej uszy) to poziom komentarza. Polecam włączyć kiedyś na SopCascie mecz Ligi Mistrzów z UK i porównać to np. z rykiem red. Szpakowskiego. Przepaść.

Pewnie moja opinia w dużej mierze jest odosobniona, ponieważ nie jestem „zwykłym” odbiorcą. Większości  wystarczy, gdy oglądając mecz usłyszą, że „Esię” podał do „Yzila” i że „ajjjjj niewiele brakowało”. Satysfakcjonuje ich pytanie do Boruca, czy zamierza walczyć o miejsce  w pierwszym składzie reprezentacji. Nie przeszkadzało im, gdy co tydzień słyszeli coraz bardziej zirytowanego Kubicę odpowiadającego, że plan na wyścig to walka o jak najlepsza pozycję. Uważają, że niczego więcej nie potrzebują. Że to zaspokaja ich potrzebę wiedzy o sportowych idolach. Dziennikarze wychodzą ich oczekiwaniom naprzeciw.
